How this playground works
Coinbase BTC/USD trade snapshots refresh every five seconds; candle history refreshes every 30 seconds. This is a sampled live feed, not every trade. A stale or disconnected feed is labeled and cannot start a new setup. The chart uses candle closes plus the latest trade; partial candles do not trigger setup status.
Pattern buttons create hand-authored example shapes. They do not identify real chart patterns. Choose the stage that matches your interpretation of the chart; its first point is placed at the latest price. Pattern size scales a reference unit as a percentage of that price, not a guaranteed peak-to-trough range. Each projection spans 30 chart intervals.
Tracking freezes the coordinates and reference levels. The comparison band is ±18% of the chosen size unit. Actual candles can land inside or outside it; this is not a success score. Entry checks begin after the modeled final retest. A completed candle crossing the invalidation line ends the setup; an entry followed by a target-level close also ends it. These are simplified close-based conditions, not simulated order fills. Missing historical intervals are flagged. Clearing a setup discards its record.
